  • December 2018: We have been granted financial support from the DAAD for a joint Finish-German research project ‚Experimental-quantum chemical characterization methods for ionic metal hydrides‘ together with Prof. Antti Karttunen, Aalto University.
  • November 2018: Nathalie accepted an offer for a tenure track professorship (Juniorprofessur W1 tt W2) at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
  • August 2018: Nathalie visited Prof. Antti Karttunen at Aalto University in order to prepare a joined Finnish-German research project.

  • May 2018: The group was awarded a French-German mobility aid (BayFrance) for a joined French-German research project in collaboration with Université d’Artois, Faculté des Sciences Jean Perrin in Lens.
  • February 2018: Our review on Rare Earth Doped Inorganic Crystalline Materials for Quantum Information Processing appeared in ZAAC and we also designed the cover picture of this issue.
  • January 2018: We have been granted financial support from the DFG for three years for the project ‚Anion-hydride-exchange as a tool for materials design –  substitution effects in fluorides, fluoride borates and fluoride phosphates studied by local probes‘.
  • December 2017: We have been granted funding from the Dr.-Ing. Leonard Lorenz Foundation under grant number 941/17 for our collaboration with the Spodi/FRMII/Garching Forschungszentrum.
  • December 2017: Philippe Goldner (CNRS, IRCP ParisTech) visited us for a week and presented his work on ‚Long-lived optical and spin quantum states in rare earth doped nano- and micro-structures‘ in the inorganic chemistry seminar.
  • November 2017: Our group has been allocated 48 hours of neutron beamline time at Spodi/FRMII/Garching Forschungszentrum in spring 2018.

  • September 2017: In the context of the preparation of a joined French-German research project, Nathalie was invited as a visiting scientist to the Université d’Artois, Faculté des Sciences Jean Perrin in Lens.
  • June 2017: The group was awarded a French-German mobility aid for a joined French-German research project in collaboration with the Institut de Recherche de Chimie Paris, Chimie ParisTech in Paris.
